Flooring Solutions
Solid and engineered timber flooring installed with attention to acclimatisation, subfloor moisture and a refined finish.
Overview
Real wood flooring brings natural grain, warmth and character that manufactured floors imitate but do not fully match. WrapRevive installs solid and engineered timber in Dubai villas, apartments and offices, with the care that a natural material needs in a hot, humid-then-chilled climate.
Solid wood is cut from a single piece of timber, while engineered boards combine a real wood top layer with a stable plywood or composite base. Engineered boards usually cope better with temperature and humidity swings, which makes them a frequent choice in Dubai interiors, though both types can be lovely. Species, grain pattern, colour and finish should be selected with the room and lighting in mind.
Installation methods include glue-down, nail-down and floating, depending on the board and subfloor. Timber needs to acclimatise to the room before fitting, and the subfloor must be dry, flat and clean. Expansion gaps are left around the perimeter, hidden by skirting. Sanding and finishing on site, when required, adds dust control and drying time to the schedule.
Wood is a living material. It can mark, dent and shift slightly with seasons, and prolonged exposure to moisture or leaks can cause lasting damage. It is less suitable for bathrooms and badly ventilated spaces. We will talk through maintenance and give honest guidance on whether real timber, engineered wood or a wood-look alternative best suits your situation.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

Solid wood is timber throughout and can often be refinished more times, while engineered wood is more dimensionally stable. We explain both for your room.
Sometimes, depending on the product and base. We check the subfloor and the manufacturer guidance before advising.
Yes, over time, like any natural surface. Furniture pads, entry mats and regular care help limit marks.

Changes to flooring should be agreed with your landlord. We can provide details of the installation method for them to review.
