Overview
Shelves are simple in principle but need correct fixings to carry weight. WrapRevive installs shelves you have purchased, from floating ledges to bracketed boards, in kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and offices. Positions are measured to be level and sized for what will go on them.
The job begins by agreeing the position and checking the wall for pipes and cables. Brackets or concealed supports are marked with a level and fixed using anchors that suit concrete, block, tile or gypsum. Spacing between supports is set so the board does not bow under load, and the finished shelf is checked for firmness.
Capacity depends on the wall, the fixings, the board and the spacing of the supports. A decorative shelf is very different from one carrying books or kitchen equipment. Bathrooms and kitchens add moisture and tile considerations. Shelf installation is for shelves you already have. If you want shelves designed to fit an alcove or built to a precise size, custom shelving is the more suitable service.
