Overview
Wooden floors can often be repaired in sections rather than replaced entirely. WrapRevive deals with scratches, loose or lifting boards, gaps and local damage in solid, engineered and laminate-style timber floors. The aim is a repair that blends in as far as the floor allows.
The method depends on the flooring type and the damage. Light scratches and scuffs can be filled and refinished, loose boards can be re-secured, and a damaged plank can sometimes be cut out and replaced. Where moisture has caused cupping or lifting, the source must be identified and corrected first, otherwise the repair will not last.
Dubai conditions matter. Strong air-conditioning, sun through large windows and any moisture from leaks or mopping can cause boards to shrink, swell or fade. Matching a replacement board to an aged floor is not always possible, and results vary. Repair is a good choice for localised damage. For widespread cupping, large water damage or very worn boards, flooring restoration or replacement is more suitable.
