Restoring worn, stained or dull timber, stone and terrazzo floors through repair, sanding or grinding and a new protective finish.
Overview
Floor restoration goes further than a polish. WrapRevive restores tired timber, marble and terrazzo floors in Dubai homes and commercial buildings, repairing damage, renewing the surface and applying a protective finish.
Restoration suits floors that are structurally sound but visibly worn, with scratches, stains, uneven sheen, open joints or old coatings that have failed. The work may include repairing chips and cracks, filling gaps, sanding timber, grinding stone, re-polishing and sealing. The plan depends on the material, the thickness remaining and what the surface has been through, including past polishing or coatings.
Timber can only be sanded a limited number of times, and engineered boards have a thin top layer that may not tolerate heavy sanding at all. Stone restoration involves progressive abrasives, which must be done evenly to avoid visible patches. Before any work starts, we inspect the floor, discuss expected results and, where useful, test a small area to show what restoration can achieve.
Restoration cannot fix everything. Deep stains, burn marks, severe water damage and structural issues may remain visible or need partial replacement. If a floor is beyond economical restoration, we will say so and discuss replacement. Disruption is also a factor, since sanding and grinding create dust, so protection and scheduling are planned with you.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
