Repainting is a practical way to bring a tired wooden piece back into a room. WrapRevive prepares each item carefully, from degreasing to sanding and priming, so the new colour sits evenly. It works best on sound furniture that you want to keep rather than replace.
Furniture is painted differently from walls. Surfaces are cleaned, old finishes dulled and any damage filled, then a primer suited to the material is applied. Handles, hinges and glass are removed or masked. The number of coats and drying time between them affects durability, and rushing is a common cause of tacky or chipped paint.
Not every piece is a good candidate. Solid wood and well-made MDF generally accept paint well. Laminate, veneer, water-damaged or swollen boards need extra care and may not suit painting at all. If a piece is structurally weak or badly damaged, repair or replacement may be better than a new finish.
Pieces can be painted in your home or taken for work off-site depending on size and finish. Sprayed finishes look smoother but need controlled conditions. We discuss colour, sheen and practical use, such as dining tables that will see heat and spills, before starting. Please tell us how the piece is used, so the finish can be matched to everyday wear.

Cracks and holes are filled, surfaces sanded and primed as required.
Paint is applied in even coats with drying time respected between coats.
Masking is removed, touch-ups are completed and the area is cleaned.
