Cleaning & Washing
Removal of builders' dust, debris, adhesives and protective films after new construction, ahead of handover or move-in.
Overview
New buildings and fit-outs leave behind plaster dust, cement splashes, adhesive marks and protective film on almost every surface. Post-construction cleaning clears this in stages so the property can be handed over or occupied. It is more intensive than a standard clean and is planned with the site in mind.
The work usually proceeds in phases: coarse debris removal, dry dusting and vacuuming of high surfaces, detail cleaning of fixtures and fittings, glass and frames, and finally floors. Protective films are peeled where agreed, and paint or adhesive spots are lifted with methods that suit each surface to avoid scratching.
Cement splashes on glass or tile, deep paint marks and scratches from site work may not remove fully without risk of damage, and we will say so before attempting. Site conditions, including power, water and safe access, affect how the work is carried out. Finishing trades should be complete first, otherwise dust returns.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
