Overview
Even a freshly handed-over home may carry construction dust, previous tenant residue or a layer of settled sand. Move-in cleaning gives you a clean start before furniture arrives. It is easiest to arrange while the property is still empty.
Empty rooms let cleaning reach places that furniture normally blocks, such as inside cupboards, wardrobes, drawers and behind appliances. Kitchen and bathroom fittings are cleaned in detail, windows and tracks are cleared of dust, and floors are cleaned thoroughly before boxes and furniture are brought in. Cleaning is easier now than after boxes and furniture arrive.
A property that was unoccupied for a long period, or newly completed, may have heavier dust and debris and could need more time. Marks left by wear, old paint overspray or damaged fittings will not always clear. Building move-in rules, such as lift booking and permitted hours, should be checked with your management and shared with us in advance.
