Overview
Gypsum board is the base material behind many modern interiors, from smooth ceilings to lined walls and partitions. WrapRevive installs it on a framed support, then joints and finishes it so the surface is ready for painting. Clean setting-out at the start is what keeps the final surface straight and crack-resistant.
The work begins with measuring and marking out the area, then fixing a metal or suitable framework to the structure. Boards are cut to size, screwed to the frame and the joints taped and filled, with the screw heads and corners finished smooth. Allowances for lighting, AC outlets and access panels are decided before boards go up rather than cut in afterwards.
Board type is chosen to suit the room. Standard boards are common in dry living areas, while moisture-resistant options may be considered for bathrooms or kitchens, and other types for particular needs. Which is appropriate depends on the location and use, and we recommend the right one after assessing the room rather than quoting a single standard solution.
In apartments and offices, changes to ceilings or walls may need building management approval, which the customer should check before booking. WrapRevive can advise on the information typically needed, such as drawings or a short description of the works. Final scope, materials and finish are confirmed in the quotation after a site visit.

FAQ
Moisture-resistant boards may be considered, but wet areas need careful detailing and often additional waterproofing. We advise after assessing the room.
Building management may need to approve work that changes ceilings or walls. Please check with them first; we can advise on the information they usually ask for.
After jointing and sanding it needs primer before finish coats. The sequence is confirmed in the quotation.
Good framing and jointing reduce the risk, but building movement can cause hairline cracks at times. We cannot promise they will never appear.
Light items usually use suitable fixings. Heavy loads need extra support such as backing boards, which should be planned before the wall is closed.
