Architectural Vinyl Wrapping
Wrap columns, shelves, niches, feature joinery and other accent surfaces to add pattern, colour or texture to a space.
Overview
Decorative surface wrapping covers the smaller or more unusual surfaces that finish an interior, such as columns, bulkheads, shelving, niches, TV units and feature joinery. It is useful for designers and homeowners who want a custom detail without commissioning new fabrication.
Interiors are often judged on details. A single wrapped column, shelf unit or recess can introduce a stone, metallic or timber accent that ties a room together. We measure the surface, plan seams, and apply film so that patterns and grain run in the intended direction. Samples are checked in place so the finish works with your lighting.
Because these surfaces are often irregular, feasibility is judged individually. Flat and gently curved elements are straightforward, while compound curves, deep recesses and uneven substrates are more demanding. We examine the substrate, discuss what is realistic, and may suggest painting or another finish if film is not the best fit.
This service is well suited to designers refining a scheme, hospitality operators updating feature areas and homeowners adding character on a modest budget. It does not change the structure of the element, so damaged or crumbling items should be repaired first. Where building approvals apply, we encourage you to confirm them before work.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
Service Process
We inspect each surface for damage, swelling, peeling or heat exposure and confirm whether wrapping is suitable.
You choose a film design and finish from samples, viewed in your own lighting where possible.
Hardware is removed, surfaces are cleaned and degreased, and minor defects are repaired or filled.
Film is applied panel by panel, worked around edges and corners, and trimmed for clean lines.
Hardware is refitted, every panel is inspected, and we explain how to care for the new surface.

FAQ
Yes, round and square columns are common candidates. We plan seam positions so they sit discreetly.
Heavily textured surfaces may need smoothing first, or may not be suitable. We test on site before confirming.
Our wrapping services focus on interior surfaces. Direct sun and weather exposure make outdoor use generally unsuitable.
If you or your designer supply a finish reference, we compare it with available films and show samples. An exact match is not always possible.
Seams are sometimes unavoidable on complex shapes. We plan them in the least visible places and explain this beforehand.
