Architectural Vinyl Wrapping
Wrap existing wall panels, wainscoting and cladding boards with film to change their colour or texture without removing them.
Overview
Wall panel wrapping covers existing wooden, MDF or laminate wall panels with decorative film, giving a new colour or pattern without taking the panels down. It suits feature walls, offices, hotel corridors and living areas where panels are in place and sound but out of date or marked.
Panelled walls can look heavy and dated, but removing them is disruptive and may damage the wall behind. Wrapping gives these surfaces a new colour, a stone effect or a refreshed woodgrain while keeping the installation in place. Flat panels and shallow grooves wrap best, with joints and grooves carefully followed.
We check how the panels are fixed, how flat they are and whether the wall behind is damp. Panels that are loose, warped, or showing signs of moisture should be repaired or replaced before any film is applied. Heavily carved or deeply recessed designs may not wrap cleanly, and we say so at the survey.
Wall panel wrapping is a good fit for corridors, reception areas, lounges and offices where a coordinated look is wanted at limited disruption. It is not intended for external walls or areas with ongoing moisture problems, and it is not a substitute for plastering or repairs. Where building approval is needed, you should check with building management.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.
Service Process
We inspect each surface for damage, swelling, peeling or heat exposure and confirm whether wrapping is suitable.
You choose a film design and finish from samples, viewed in your own lighting where possible.
Hardware is removed, surfaces are cleaned and degreased, and minor defects are repaired or filled.
Film is applied panel by panel, worked around edges and corners, and trimmed for clean lines.
Hardware is refitted, every panel is inspected, and we explain how to care for the new surface.

FAQ
Shallow grooves and flutes can often be followed, but deep or sharp profiles are harder. We test a section before confirming.
Yes. Moisture behind panels must be resolved first, because film cannot cure damp and may lift over damp surfaces.
Yes. Many customers choose a single feature wall, and we plan the finish so it blends with the rest of the room.
Strongly three-dimensional panels are generally not suitable for film. We recommend painting or replacement in those cases.
Check your tenancy agreement and consult your landlord. We can provide a description of the work to support your request.
