Installation starts with deciding the height and width so the curtain covers the window properly and stacks neatly when open. Brackets are then fixed into suitable substrate, with extra supports on long spans to prevent sagging. Ceiling-mounted tracks require a firm fixing above, while wall-mounted rods need anchors that hold the combined weight of the rod and curtains.
The outcome depends on the wall or ceiling construction and the weight of the curtains, particularly blackout lining which is heavy. Gypsum ceilings and curtain boxes need special handling, and large glass doors may need extended rods. This service suits both new and replacement rods.
