Flooring Solutions
Floating click-lock flooring that locks together without glue, suited to quick refreshes, rentals and over-existing-floor installs.
Overview
Click flooring locks plank to plank along the edges and floats over the subfloor, so it needs no glue and can often go over an existing floor. WrapRevive installs click systems in Dubai apartments, villas and offices, in vinyl, SPC and laminate formats.
The click mechanism is a tongue-and-groove profile that snaps or folds together. The finished floor is not fixed to the base but held in place by its own weight and the surrounding skirting. This makes installation cleaner and quicker than bonded systems, and it makes future replacement easier. It also means the perimeter needs a hidden expansion gap, since floating floors expand and contract with temperature.
Click flooring is only as flat as what lies beneath. Bumps, grout lines and ridges can cause weak joints or hollow sounds, so the subfloor is checked and corrected if needed. An underlay is often used for sound, comfort and moisture control, although some boards include it. Transitions at doors and between rooms are planned so the floor can move without lifting.
Floating floors are not ideal for every space. Very large open areas need expansion breaks, heavy built-in furniture should not sit on a floating floor, and click joints can be vulnerable to standing water in some laminate products. We will explain which click materials suit which rooms and avoid recommending a floating system where a bonded one would last better.
Final scope is confirmed in your written quotation after assessment.

FAQ
Vinyl, SPC and laminate are all commonly available as click boards. They behave differently in moisture and heat, so we help you choose.
They can if the base is uneven or the underlay is unsuitable. Proper preparation and the right underlay reduce this.
Often yes, provided the tiles are firm and the joints are not too deep. We assess before advising.
Generally, floating floors can be lifted and re-laid or replaced more simply than glued floors. That can be useful for rentals.
Floating floors need space to expand and contract with temperature. The gap is covered by skirting or trims.
Some water-resistant boards can be, but standing water at joints is a risk. We advise carefully for wet rooms.
