Each depends on very clean preparation and precise edges, because small flaws are far more visible in a deliberate pattern. We start with a discussion of the look you want and the room's natural and artificial light.
Because these finishes are more hands-on, they take longer than a plain repaint and results can vary slightly from sample to wall. We recommend testing the technique on a small area or board before committing. Walls should be sound and smooth, as decorative effects tend to highlight rather than hide imperfections.

Cracks and holes are filled, surfaces sanded and primed as required.
Paint is applied in even coats with drying time respected between coats.
Masking is removed, touch-ups are completed and the area is cleaned.
